1. PTO MEMBERSHIP
The PTO would like to challenge all families that have not yet joined the PTO to send in their $5.00 membership. This is a great way to support the school!
2. GROCERY STORE INCENTIVES (3 Participating Stores)
Many of our area grocery stores offer incentives just for shopping there. Last year, Harris Teeter gave our school a $1000 bonus check! Now it is time to get all your family's cards (relatives, friends, neighbors) linked to our school again. This must be done each year. We use this money to help pay for field trips, classroom supplies, and for the art & music programs. If you do not have access to a computer, we can link your Giant, Harris Teeter, and Food Lion cards for you. Please complete & return the form that was sent home with your child or simply click the links below & enter the necesasary information.

3. BOX TOPS
Box tops are the easiest way to support our school. . . . your child can bring them to school anytime . . . just simply collect, clip, & send to school in a ziploc bag with your child's name, teachers' name, and the number of box tops collected. Did you know that if every PCS student contributed just 3 box tops, we would meet out goal? The classroom who contributes the most Box Tops will earn an ice cream party.

4. CAMPBELL'S LABELS
Please send in your Campbell labels in a separate ziploc bag from your box tops with your child's name, teachers' name, and the number of Campbell labels collected. For more infrmation, you can access labelsforeducation.com
At PCS, we recycle printer ink cartridges for cash! Please collect empty ink cartridges from friends, neighbors, & small businesses and place them (HP, Lexmark, Compaq, Dell, Brother, Apple, etc) in a ziploc bag & send it into school with your child. The PTO will be paid up to $4.00 for each cartridge. Not only does this beneift PCS but it is a great way to help Save the Earth by reducing pollution & saving energy!
6. BOOK FAIRS
Phillip C. Showell will hold 3 books fairs throughout the school year. The first book fair will be held from September 30th - October 3rd. Family shopping will be held after school hours on Wednesday, October 1st from 5:00-7:30. We hope to see you & your family!
7. FALL FUNDRAISER
The Fall Fundraiser is a great way for families to support teachers & staff at PCS! The catalog items for sale include candles, gift items, and wrapping paper. The class with the most participation will receive a very special prize! If you are interested in helping with the fundraiser, please contact Tenielle Tingle at 302-381-3215.
8. FALL FESTIVAL
The Fall Festival will be held on November 1st from 11AM-2PM at Phillip C. Showell. There will be tons of fun including games, crafts, food, pony rides, a moon bounce, and one lucky teacher will "Kiss a Pig!" Your child may contribute to the "Kiss the Pig" event by bringing in pocket change to select their favorite teacher to "pucker up!"

9. GIFT CARD FUNDRAISER
The gift card fundraiser will begin on November 1st . . . this will be a great opportunity to purchase those holiday gift cards while supporting your child's school at the same time. Stay tuned for more information.
